Delete your Ant PLAB account
You can delete your Ant PLAB account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Choose whichever option is easiest for you — both remove your account permanently.
Fastest
In the Ant PLAB app
On Android and the latest iPhone app: Profile → Delete account.
- Open the Ant PLAB app on Android, or the latest version of the iPhone/iPad app, and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap Delete account.
- If your account has a password, enter it to confirm. (Accounts that sign in only with Google or Apple do not need one.)
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
If your iPhone app doesn't show it yet, email [email protected] from your registered address.
No app needed
By email
Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account (or tell us the phone number you registered with) and ask us to delete your account. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it.
We complete email requests within 7 business days and reply to confirm when it is done.
What we delete
- • Your name, email address and phone number
- • Your password and profile photo
- • Any contact or delivery details on your profile
- • Access to the account — it is deactivated and can no longer be used to sign in, including with Google or Apple
Once deleted, the email address can be used to register a new account.
What we keep, and why
- • Payment and transaction records — kept for up to 7 years because UK tax law requires it. They are not used for anything else.
- • Anonymised practice history — answers, favourites and notes stay attached to the deactivated account for our question statistics, but are no longer linked to your name, email or phone number.
- • Backups — copies may remain in our encrypted system backups until they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
Before you delete
- • Deletion is permanent. Your progress, history and any remaining access time cannot be restored, and remaining access is not refunded.
- • Subscribed in our iOS app? Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it first in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
- • Website and Android purchases are one-time payments and do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
